WAITING

God will provide.  I cannot tell you the number of times that I have been in situations where I didn’t know how it would work out.  But my heavenly Father has my best interest at heart. He wants what is best for me and always works things for my good.

Romans 8:28- And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Sometimes we walk through things and at the time we cannot see that it is for our good.  But eventually, something will happen and the reason becomes crystal clear. Often, we need to thank God for the “No or the not yet.”

His ways are higher than ours. If we were given everything, we wanted we would be prideful and arrogant.  God hates the prideful and those who are self-important. What a mess our lives would be for example:  Look at the people who win the lottery.  They have all the money they could ever need and it destroys their lives because they do not handle it properly.  Within five years, most are flat broke again. They lack the character and maturity to handle what they have been blessed with winning.

Sometimes the things we ask God for would destroy us or not be what we think. That job promotion may be a ball and chain of stress.  It may cause a massive heart attack that would take you out. That man or woman you think is amazing, may be Jezebel or satan himself.  But God spared you from that fate.

We need to say in all things I trust you, Lord. I don’t understand why this was allowed in my life.  But whatever the reason, use it for your glory.  Use it to make me a more mature Christian.  Help me to walk it out, with my head held high.

We are often told to wait, meaning he will answer our prayer in his time.  Waiting is almost as hard as the “No.” The “not yet,” is for our good. When we get to a place that we feel like we cannot go on we need to stand still.  God will open doors when the time is right.

Isaiah 40:29-31 (29) He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. (30) Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: (31) But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

God doesn’t want us to be weary but wants us to just take each day as it comes, trying to walk by faith. We are to continue to worship and be a light, while we are waiting. Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.  In God’s timing, we will have the answers we need and will be thankful for the “No.”

BE BOLD, BE BRAVE AND KEEP YOUR GOD FOCUS
