WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING, THE TITLE OF TODAY’S EPISODE: PREVENTION

There is an old saying that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Which means we have to take action now and not put things off because they will always get bigger. Sometimes we have to press through a little bit of pain or being uncomfortable to prevent something worse.

Prov 4:23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

For example, someone who has knee replacement surgery. There is a long process of recovery. Physical therapy is painful and it is hard to push through, I am told. But I know a woman that refused to do her therapy and she cannot bend her leg. That in it’s self-causes a lot of issues she would not have to deal with if she had simply pushed through the pain of therapy.

The enemy comes along and causes issues. He starts to build strongholds. We can either fight to break the stronghold or our future self will suffer the consequences. Future generations of our lineage will have to deal with the same issue. It is called a generational curse and many people have had to fight things that their parents and grandparents refused to conquer. For example, alcoholism.

The enemy will always try to get us bound up in things that keep us distracted from growing in Christ. We cannot run this race until we can walk.  In order to walk we may have to do some spiritual therapy. We may have to do some stretching and strengthening of our spiritual muscles.

Do not allow the enemy to trip you up. Prevent the stumbling blocks of the enemy from becoming strongholds. He is determined to bind us up. We have to be just as diligent and determined to not let him get the upper hand. We have to fight that good fight of faith and stand strong. Allowing God to keep our feet on the right path.

Stumbling is all a part of the therapy; we may even fall down. There is no shame in stumbling, we are human. But we have to make a course correction and stay diligent about our course.

Being vigilant about our faith walk will prevent the enemy from getting a strong hold.

Until next time,

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  CHOICES

Every day we have choices to make; do we have bacon and eggs for breakfast or grab a sweet roll and hit the road. Most of us live our lives at a fast pace. Every minute is accounted for and then some. With jammed packed schedules it is easy to allow the enemy to place small annoyances in our way.

As children of God, we cannot lose our focus on what really matters; our faith walks and spending time with God. It is easy to fall into frustration when everything we do or say gets turned into a mess. This is when we need to stop and find a quiet place to pray. Ask God for his strength and help. We cannot be a light to the world if we lose our God focus. He must be the center of our day.

Col 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Developing an attitude of gratitude will go a long way with keeping us on track. When we focus on things above, we keep our focus right. Negativity has no place in the life of a Christian. The very description of the word means that Satan is in charge of our words. He subtracts and divides, he creates negative things. He makes thing appear worse than what they really are.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

One way we can have an abundant life is if we pray and speak life. Positive words will always keep our focus going the right direction. Speaking faith, speaking life is the very foundation of our relationship with God.

Eph 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

People need to be built up. They need encouraged in their faith. When we speak life and positive things it will encourage and edify others. It all comes down to the choices we make do we choose positive life affirming words or negative things that will draw the enemy.

It is best if we choose to speak life, speak words of grace and speak Jesus.

All through Bible history God’s people would do the right thing for a while and have a firm grasp on their God focus. Then the enemy would come along and offer them shiny choices and before long they would lose their focus. Before long they had completely abandoned God and were worshipping a false idol.

There are many passages about choosing the right path and choosing to live for God. It is a choice we make daily by our actions. We need to be found doing what God has created us to do, time is short and the world needs Jesus.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Elijah on the top of Mt. Carmel said something similar when Israel started following the prophets of Baal. Right before God sent fire down to prove he was God, Elijah said,

1 Kgs 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.

When you wake up, thank God for allowing you to see another day. Develop an attitude of gratitude. This will start you on the path to making the right choices for the day. Some choices doesn’t have long term effects. It doesn’t matter if you have bacon and eggs or opt for the sweet roll on the road. But it does matter that we choose to stay connected to God. Each day we must choose to follow closer than we did the day before, that is the only way we will win the lost to Jesus.

GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING –EP419–DIGGING OUT THE WELLS

CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO VERSION: https://rumble.com/v6zlx40-god-focus-this-morning-ep419-digging-out-the-wells.html

I grew up near an artesian well. As a kid it was amazing to go get a drink out of the fountain that didn’t need a pump. There was not a handle to turn it off and on, it ran all the time. As an adult, I understand that it has to do with pressure in the water table. To a kid it seemed almost like it was magic. Even on hot days it was ice cold, which made it more magical.

Other wells, like the one my grandfather had, was a big hole in the ground that water flowed into and stayed until it was dipped out with a bucket. This is how the wells were in the bible times. In order to stop the flow of water these types of wells must be filled with dirt or rocks.

After Abraham’s death his enemy the Philistines stopped up his wells. Issac came along and dug them out again. Each time he fought with the enemy over the wells. He would walk away and try the next well until he came to a place that the enemy gave up. That well he called Rehoboth which meant the Lord has made room.

At the well of living water God too has made room. He wants us to share the living water with everyone. God has made room for everyone who is thirsty to come and be filled with is Spirit or living water.

It is impossible for an artesian to become stagnated. Water becomes stagnated when it quits flowing. This allows decaying leaves and other things to build up and contaminate the water. Our spiritual lives can be like either type of water.  If it is like the artesian well, we are living close to God allowing the things he wants to pour into our lives to flow. If our living water becomes still and doesn’t flow out of us, we can become contaminated by the world and become stagnate.

John 7:37-39  In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.  38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.  39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

Out of our bellies will flow rivers of living water. We need God’s spiritual water to be an artesian well springing up in our lives. The spiritual water (Holy Ghost) will continuously flow and keep out impurities. As long as we stay in the flow of the Spirit of God we will not become stagnate.

But more than having enough God in us to keep us on the right path and not stagnate, we have to share the water. Some want to share God’s Spirit according to church by laws or man’s traditions. Some want to share him on their own terms. But there is only one way.

John 14:6- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Are you ready to be one of God’s wells that will pour out his living water to the lost and thirsty souls? God needs us to be ready to spread the gospel to the lost. He pours into us and gives us wisdom and understanding for us to take and share with those who are dying to know God’s ways. The world is in desperate need of a savior, now more than ever. We can be that well that springs up and shares Jesus with them before they die lost.

Prov 10:11-12 The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: but violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. 12 Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

I always think of the woman at the well when I think about God’s living water. Jesus was telling her that He was God and man and Holy Spirit all in one.  He was telling her that even though she had been disappointed in people that he would not disappoint her.  All she wanted was someone to love her and accept her. But instead, she was left with an unsatisfied life, going from relationship to relationship. To make matters worse, everyone treated her badly because of her choices. Instead of having compassion and showing her God’s love. She had been hurt and judged by the religious self-righteous people of her day. I know many who have been judged harshly by self-righteous people. These judgmental people need more of God’s living water inside of them.

The enemy will do all he can to keep the flow of the Holy Ghost from accomplishing a good work. We are the earth that can get in the way of that flow. Today, I want you to think about how much earthly flesh you allow to stand in the way of the flow of God’s Spirit. We don’t want a trickle or small stream of God’s living water in our lives. We need the artesian well, so that there is room for everyone to have a drink. The word tells us to not quench the Spirit. How many times do unintentionally do that very thing?

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  IN CHRIST

There is not a rock bottom too low for Christ to reach us as sinners. But we have to reach up and take his hand when he offers to lift us out of our pit of sin sickness and despair. When we place our trust in him, he gives us so very much. Salvation, peace, joy and power to endure what faces us each day.

We are to boast in the cross by telling others what the cross means. It is not just a symbol to be worn as jewelry or put on our cars. The cross is the symbol of our freedom and hope. It is the power of God to redeem us from a broken world.

I Cor. 1:8  For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

To the lost they think it is a bunch of nonsense. But to us who are saved it is the symbol of what Jesus did to buy our souls from hell. It is so much more than the world could ever imagine. It is only by his grace and mercy that we can be redeemed. Only with the blood of his body, can we be set free.

Phil 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Paul was saying, anything we could do, be or gain in this life on our own is worthless, compared to what we gain by becoming children of God. The knowledge of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord is priceless.

We should not seek to be known, except as a disciple of Jesus Christ. We can place our full trust in Him. Because he only wants what is best for us. When people see us triumph over our fiery trials, let it be said that we walk well and that our source of overcoming power is Jesus. That we are a good example of Christ living within us.

People need to see us walking in victory, even in the middle of our worst nightmares. They need to see that we believe that there is power in the blood. The world needs to see in us an unshakeable faith that no matter what happens, we are in Christ.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  NO STONE UNTURNED

The phrase “Leave no stone unturned,” has an origin in Greek culture. The legend says that a general was told to turn over every stone to find a treasure. This is a symbol of truly seeking to find something. It is about being meticulous.

We are supposed to dig into the word of God to find the treasures. This phrase could be no verse unturned. We need to approach the word of God as a treasure and a puzzle to be solved. There are many deep treasures about God and his character hidden in his word. It is not hidden in a spot that is unattainable. But we have to search and pray for enlightenment.

2 Cor 4:3-6 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

If we are searching for something we have lost, we will get down on the floor and look under the furniture. We will open every door, drawer and closet. We will look behind and underneath things. We should be this way with the word of God. Ever learning and searching for deeper meaning in the word. We must focus our attention to detail so we don’t overlook anything.

Jeremiah 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Leaving no scripture unturned means that we diligently study the scriptures. We search with all our heart. Not a part, not half-heartedly, going through the motions. But fully engaged with digging out the treasures hidden in his word. Learning new things about our God is a great treasure.

Finding new nuggets of wisdom will fill the hunger we have for the deep things of God.

GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING EP416 GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT

We want to find ourselves in a state of contentment. People often have differing  ideas about how to find that peace. The Apostle Paul wrote to a young convert named Timothy to encourage him to follow the right path.

I Tim 6:4-5 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

Paul was warning Timothy to not get caught up in the trappings of this life. Many were materialistic and loved to argue with other. He was warning him to not be proud and not to argue with those who only wanted to argue for the sake of argument. They didn’t want to discuss to learn. They do not want to understand what it means to be godly, then walk away from those corrupt people.

I Tim 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. This is the point of this letter to Timothy. He wanted him to be aware of an remember that true contentment comes from a godly life. When we have contentment in Jesus we have gained much. Maybe not in material wealth and things, but in peace.

The word contentment means a state of peaceful happiness. Satisfaction with ones circumstances or life. Having enough peace to know that they do not need great amounts of material things and money. Jesus can give us such a feeling.

I Tim 6:7-9 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

If we allow ourselves to become restless and feel less than because we do not have the newest gadget or drive the newest car. Then the lack of contentment will cause us to do all sorts of things to fulfil the desires. As with anything in life, we can allow it to become out of balance. When greed takes us over and we desire money more than anything else, we have lost our focus, contentment and are headed for a fall.

I TIM 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

It is not wrong to have money. It is not wrong to have material things as long as you have the right perspective. It says the love of money. When people love money more than anything else they have lost their faith and their God Focus. Their desire for money will cause them to compromise. By compromising our principles and faith, we have lost something far greater than we could ever gain monetarily.

I Tim 6:11-12 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Paul warns Timothy to flee the desires of the flesh to want material things. To flee pride and walk in righteousness, faith, love, patience, meekness and godliness. When we choose to walk in these things we will find contentment because of our godliness. We can be a light to many, by simply choosing to walk in contentment and peace.

NOT FROM THE PULPIT

My mind wanders today to a song that used to be played back in the eighties. It is truer than ever before, it went, “My house is full, but my fields are empty, who will go and work for me today?” We are compelled to go out and reach those that are lost. He didn’t say if you sit in a church building, they will come to you. This is not the movie field of dreams, if you build it they will come.

Jesus tells us to go out and live for him in a way that the world will know that we are different. People think as long as you attend a church service once a week or a couple of times a week that is all they have to do. We come together and fellowship to gain strength and to be taught the word of God. We are to go out and bring the lost to Jesus.

It is not always the sermons that come from a pulpit that reaches the lost. Many lost will never be close enough to a pulpit to hear the word of God. But they can see us living our faith out loud. Don’t be afraid to ask someone if they want you to pray for them. Many will accept your prayers. Some will ask you to pray later, they don’t want to hear your words they are afraid they will break down. But they have respect enough for God that they will accept prayer.

People didn’t hate Jesus’ disciples because they preached love. They hated them because they preached the truth. It is time to be uncompromising on the truth, but do it in a way that shows love. It is a balancing act, some people say God is love and accept anything. People think these people love them. Then you have those who speak the truth. They are not as well liked. But if you were standing in the path of a moving train and was about to get hit by it, would you want someone to tell you that you are alright or would you want someone to tell you the train is coming?

I pray to be surrounded by truth tellers even if it hurts me at the time. God’s truth is the only thing that will set us free in every way.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

The only true freedom or peace we will ever have is found in Jesus. Remember not all sermons come from a pulpit. Some of the best ones are lived out by God’s people in plain sight.

Go out and shine your light!

GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING –EP409– BE STILL

GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING –EP409– BE STILL

https://rumble.com/v6yyme0-god-focus-this-morning-ep409-be-still.html

When the enemy surrounds us, and we feel afraid. When we feel like all hope is gone. We cannot go by what we feel. We have to look to our heavenly father and know that He’s still God. His power to deliver is the same as it was before the enemy closed in, causing us to fear.

His ability to heal is still the same as it was before we get sick. Our circumstances change all the time. But God never changes. When we lose a loved one, God’s ability to help us walk through grief is the same as it was before we needed him to be our grief counselor.

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

There is not a single thing we can think of that we need or will ever need that God is not already taken care of.

Mal 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

We can always depend on God to have our back. There is not a storm too big. There is not a demon in hell that can stand in our way. God is our strength, our hope and our joy. When the storms rage, we need to be still and rest in God’s peace. He will be there to speak “Peace Be Still,” to our storms.

There is a verse that says, “Be Still and know that I am God.” That is what we need to make a point of doing. It doesn’t matter what is going on or how our emotions may rage. We need to find a place of peace. We need to find a place of being quiet and be alone with our creator. The place of stillness, where our shepherd leads us. The place in his presence where nothing else exists outside of you and God. That is the secret place that a child of God needs to find.

GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING –EP408 LEVELS OF BOLDNESS

CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO VERSION: https://rumble.com/v6ytm6e-god-focus-this-morning-ep408-levels-of-boldness.html

Hello my friends

The title of today’s episode is: “LEVELS OF BOLDNESS”

We are living in times where we need to be bold about our faith. The word bold means, not hesitating or fearful in the face of actual or possible danger; courageous and daring.  Warriors of God, we need to not be fearful but have courage.

When Jesus chose Peter, he was a fisherman. Strong and willing to do the right thing for his family. Fishermen were often rough brawlers. They were not considered scholarly or well educated. Most of them had what we would call street smarts today.  They had survival skills that helped them brave the elements as they tried to catch fish. They knew how to negotiate for the best price for their daily catch.

Peter was determined to follow Jesus.  He was brave enough to walk away from everything to follow Jesus. As he walked with Jesus, he started learning about miracles. He knew in his heart that Jesus was the Messiah. Many of the Jews were blind to this fact. Some were too evil to care, others were too religious to see it.

Peter was known to have a temper. He would hear Jesus preach about loving people. Yet Peter was ready to defend Jesus with a sword.  In the garden of Gethsemane, Peter was bold and took on a Roman soldier with a sword, cutting off his ear.  He was brave enough to fight for Jesus in the natural. He was bold in the flesh, but he lacked spiritual boldness. Once Jesus was taken to be delivered up for crucifixion, Peter lost all boldness for a moment and he let fear kick in. He allowed his fear to overtake his faith. I can see how easily that could happen. One day he is walking with the Messiah who had power to heal people and raise the dead. Then all of the sudden he was taken captive to be offered up for punishment.

He denied Jesus and found himself warming by the enemy’s fire. Jesus wasn’t concerned by his momentary laps in judgment. Jesus knew what Peter would become someday. He knew Peter would be a strong leader after He ascended into heaven.

Matt 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

When Jesus was crucified, Peter’s faith waivered.  His boldness spiraled and failed him. Until fortified on the day of Pentecost. Then he boldly stood and proclaimed, “This is that which was prophesied by Joel.” He never looked back. Once he walked with Jesus as a man and his friend. But after that day, God was within him. Suddenly he had HOLY Boldness. He became an empowered spreader of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He suffered much for the gospel. He may not have always done the right thing. But he never denied Christ again. Church history says that he was even crucified upside down, because he felt unworthy to die like his savior. Many people down through the years have been Martyred for the gospel. Peter went through many levels of boldness. As he walked in one and grew in faith, God raised him up a level.

One story today that is famous is the story of David and Goliath. Many use that story to describe when someone comes up against what appears to be an insurmountable obstacle or battle. David had many levels of boldness that he grew through in his life.  He was a young man when he killed a lion. It took boldness to do his duty of protecting the sheep. His boldness grew as he came up against a bear, killing it. He was growing in faith in his God as each thing happened. It came time to go up against Goliath. He had to be bold to stand and convince Saul to let him meet his destiny. It took boldness to decide to not put on Saul’s armor, but to stand bravely without physical armor. But he boldly declared that God would deliver him.

Satan has always had evil men in power. Look at Hearod, he killed many young male babies in hopes of killing Jesus. Because he didn’t want to give up his crown.  He didn’t understand that Jesus wasn’t born to take his earthly crown.

The Foxes Book of Martyrs is a book of church history. It tells stories of people that have been martyred for the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is horrific what these people suffered. They were an inspiration to many people down through the ages. They had to have holy boldness to stand and say, “It doesn’t matter what you do, I will not deny Christ.”

Today satan has people in power that have evil intentions.  We can stand strong, like Peter or David. The same Spirit that was in them is within us.  We can have Holy Boldness and stand in the middle of adversity. Jesus is the only way to heaven.  He is the only true God. He is the only God that died to give us life.

We need to give him back that life as an offering to thank him for Eternal life. Make no mistake about it when you decide to live a life for Jesus. The enemy will try to stop you. Greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.

We will never win the lost with a watered down, weak gospel.  People need the real truth of God. They need us to have holy boldness and stand up to evil as the early church. Where would we be today if they had not fully surrendered to the cause of Christ? Would we even know about God’s plan of salvation? I would hate to think that the gospel itself became lost because I was not bold enough to open my mouth in declaration of God’s plan.

II COR 4:1-4 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

I encourage you today to let your bold light shine to the world. They have been blinded to the gospel. But Jesus opened the eyes of the blind, physically and spiritually.  If we can be bold, we can give the blind a little bit of light to start to see that Jesus is real and HE IS ALL they need.

GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING –EP407 MISSED OPPORTUNITY

CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO VERSION: https://rumble.com/v6yrrn6-god-focus-this-morning-ep407-missed-opportunity.html

As I was driving past a church the other day, I noticed that the marquee sign out front was blank.  I remembered when a message on a marquee sign was used by God to call this prodigal home. Well, that and a billboard earlier that day. But that is a story for another day. As I looked at the blank sign disappointment filled me, I thought, wow what a missed opportunity to turn someone’s life around.

Many times, I have been encouraged by a scripture verse or nugget of wisdom on church signs. As I continued driving, I wondered how many times I have missed opportunities to be the light that I was created to be. How many times have you missed opportunities to let your light shine?

At times has my life been like the blank marquee? Have I been so closed down that my witness was like a blank sign?

There is a Latin phrase that many are familiar with, Carpe Diem. It means to pluck the day, most say seize the day. It means that we make the most of every opportunity that we have been given. We pluck the opportunities out of each moment.

Each day is a blank page and how we fill it is totally up to us. Will we go about our day on autopilot? Will we try to find opportunities to be a light and a witness? I don’t want there to be any missed opportunities in my life.  I don’t want to be a blank sign. I want my life to be a witness.  We do not know what a day will bring our way. Life is like a vapour, here one moment then it’s gone.  Because time is slipping away, we have to take hold of the chances given to us.

James 4:13-14 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

I believe God allowed me to see the blank sign and to feel complete disappointment to remind me to go out and do all that I can to reach the lost. They cannot come to God on their own, they don’t know that they can, except someone tells them.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Faith in God comes by understanding the word of God. They must hear it with their ears or see it on a billboard. The word of God is powerful to transform lives, but it has to be where it can be seen and heard. So that understanding can lead to salvation.

We would not be saved if someone had not told us about the power of the cross to transform lives. We must seize every opportunity to be a light and hope to the lost.

When I think about missed opportunities in the bible, the parable of the ten virgins comes to mind. Some would say they should not have slept. But all ten slept, while they waited. The difference is that five of them were prepared. They had gathered their supplies and were prepared. The foolish five, were not prepared, they had no oil. They didn’t do all they could ahead of time to assure that they would be ready to meet the bride groom.

Our faith walk boils down to us being prepared and doing all we can to help others prepare to meet Jesus in the air.

Until next time,

BE BOLD, BE BRAVE AND KEEP YOUR GOD FOCUS
