WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  A “WELL” PLANNED MOMENT

God has appointed times and moments that divine intervention is necessary. God is the master of perfect timing. He knows the heart of a person and what they need at any given moment. I can think of many times that God has showed up and surprised me with just the right verse, song or his still small voice that gave me the encouragement I needed.

Today I want to talk to you about a meeting at a well. Jesus is all about well-planned moments. But when he met the Samaritan woman at a well in the middle of the day it was perfect timing. I am sure it made her nervous to be seen with Jesus. The custom of that day was that a man and a woman couldn’t be alone together without a chaperone unless they were related or married. Jews and Samaritans didn’t get along very well so there was tension there also.

What would the people of the village have said to Jesus about this woman? What type of things would they have spewed with judgment about her? They would have surely warned him that being seen with her would ruin his reputation. If anyone would have warned him, he wouldn’t have listened. He was there not to be affected by her. He was there to change her life.

She had a reputation and the other women treated her badly. Giving her looks and talking about her. Normally the woman of the house would gather water early, at day break before it got hot. But this woman came in the middle of the day to avoid the looks and comments.

Jesus told her at one point to go get her husband and come back and he would explain to her how he could give her living water. She said she didn’t have a husband. Jesus said to her that she was telling the truth because she had been married five times and the one she was currently living with was not her husband.

Jesus knew her pain and rejection. He understood the dry well of her soul that desperately needed to be filled with living water. The word doesn’t say the reason for her many marriages. Did her husband’s die or reject her and throw her out of the house to make it the best way she could. But with that many failed attempts at marriage she had a lot of emotional scars. Marriage then was different than today. Women’s survival depended on their husband or father. Even a widow needed provision left by her husband. Jesus understood the deep reasons for her choices and was there to show her a better way.

He revealed to her that he was the messiah, she was so excited she ran to the village and told everyone, come see a man that told me everything I ever done. In all of her relationships she was missing something. Her soul longed for acceptance and to be loved. Jesus’ act of compassion changed her for the rest of her life. That was a well-planned moment.

What well are you drawing at, a well of never being satisfied? A well of self-doubt, fear or anxiety? Does your life currently have some rough edges that others judge you for even today?

Come see a man that has living water. You can draw from his well of salvation, grace and love.

We must meet people where they are and pray that God gives us the right words to say that will change their lives and future. If we pray every day for a well-planned moment, God will open doors of opportunity for us to share the story of a man that has living water. A man that can change their lives. We just need to be excited enough about what he has done for us that we are like the Samaritan woman. Willing to run and tell everyone about a man called Jesus.

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE: GAINING PERSPECTIVE

There are many references to mountain tops and valleys in regard to our Christian faith walk. Everyone wants the mountaintop experience. They want that feeling of strength and like nothing bad could ever happen. The feeling of being in God’s presence so strong. We feel like we could do anything. But we cannot stay there or we would not reach the lost. The mountain top is only to remind us of the big picture. To help us gain perspective about winning the lost.

Then the fall down the mountain into the valley. We go from feeling strong and resilient to weak and vulnerable. You feel lost and at times do not even feel God’s presence. In the valley the noises turn to deafening quiet. In these times of quiet we have to just hold on to the fact that God is still with us. He has promised to never leave us.

From the top of the mountain our vision is far reaching, we can see life in a big picture perspective. But in the valley, we see the fine details. In the valley, the cactus has thorns, but also have bloom. But from the top of the mountain, all you see are very tiny cactus. It is all a matter of perspective.

God allows the valleys to make us appreciate the mountain tops of life. The moments of clarity for the long-term goals, the big pictures we can see. But it takes walking through the valley to walk out the details of the plan.

Matthew 6:28-29  And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

In the quiet of the valley, we know Jesus is there, because he is the lily of the valley. He will provide all that we need. Being in the valley doesn’t mean we will have lack, he is our provider. Consider the lilies.

Many beautiful things grow in the valley. There is a purity of the valley, because it is a road less traveled, less scared by man. The true beauty comes from God’s grace and anointing which helps to focus our path.

We often experience transition moments in the valley. God helps us to leave behind what is no longer serving a purpose and moves us gently into a new season. Sort of like decluttering our house of things that no longer serves a purpose in our lives. Those bulky sweaters and kitchen gadget may be what someone else needs in their new season. But they no longer serve us in our current season.

Every journey is different and we all are at different places along the path of life. That doesn’t mean anyone is wrong, it just means we all got on the path in different places and have different lessons to learn.

We can be sure if we are on the mountain top, in the deepest valley or somewhere in between we will never walk alone. Like the old poem about footprints in the sand, there will be times God will even carry us. These are the times we are most broken and cannot walk on our own. But he is faithful to love us and pour healing into our lives, until we can walk again. He will see us through whatever we are facing.

We can be sure of one thing, life is about change and we need to embrace every season for its gifts and lessons. All are important to mold and shape us into that strong child of God that we are destined to become. It is in the transitions that we learn to grow the fruit that makes us the best light to this dying world.

As we learn to walk out our faith, we often realize that we have slowly climbed back to the mountain top again. A place to look out and get a fresh perspective and another glimpse of  God’s big picture for our lives.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  FERVENT PRAYER

For several years we have seen the following verse on shirts, billboards and Christian products. It has been quoted and preached in most churches across our land. You would have to be blind to not see that our nation and our world is in desperate need of healing. When major cities thumb their noses at law enforcement while gangs destroy everything and everyone in sight. When are we going to stop quoting the scripture and start doing it.

2 Chr. 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This verse was originally written during the time of Solomon’s first-temple dedication. But it is true for the body of Christ today. The reason things are so wicked is that God’s people turned a blinded eye to the things going on in the world. They allow evil to take prayer out of schools, to make it legal for a mother to murder her baby. The list goes on and on. Where would we be as a nation if we had stood against such evil ideas and stopped them at their beginning.

Now they have grown and are beyond our ability to correct or fix, but God.  He is the only one who can bring balance to chaos. The only giver of peace and wisdom. He needed us to petition and decree that our nation and the nations of the world will come into alignment with the truth of God. This is the only way for peace to reign and people to have their moral compass calibrated.

If God’s people who bear his name will stop being proud and religious, feeling superior to the lost, and they petition God, and turn from sin that has creeped into the church, then God will forgive us for our arrogance and sin and will heal our land. The healing of our land will bring in a large harvest of souls before it is too late.

I know that I have heard that Jesus is returning my whole life and it has not happened yet. But since the foundation of the world the day and time was in God’s plan. It will not happen until that date and time. God is a meticulous planner. It is all in his timing. We don’t have to be concerned with the when, but should be concerned with making sure people are ready.

Look at Noah’s time, he told him to preach to the people. Then he told him to build an ark. The ark sat there for many, many years and people laughed and mocked. Until one day and time, God shut the door sealing Noah and his family along with the animals inside.

Then they begged and pleaded for Noah to let them in, but he could not, God had shut the door. Once again, the door is closing a little at a time, but one day the door of time will slam shut and Jesus will gather his bride before he pours out rath upon the face of the earth.

James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Effectual means- bring about desired result.

Fervent means –passionate, persistent, heartfelt prayer fueled by a true desire and sincerity.

The desired passionate, persistent heartfelt prayer fueled by passion and sincerity prayed by a righteous man has great power and produces effective results.

Often the enemy will try to tell us that our prayers are not being answered. That God’s promises will not come to pass. He tried to distract and discourage us in every way. We can be sure that even if it doesn’t look like it at the time, God will answer our prayers. As long as we come to him with clean hands and a pure heart.

If for any reason our hands are not clean and our heart is not pure, the first prayer should be the one of repentance and rededication to walk closer. Then present the other prayers that God has placed on our hearts.

Remember the lost, remember to pray for protection for the President and his family, and all those who are on the front lines of battle. We will win this battle against evil if for Christ we will take a stand.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  LIGHT

The first thing God did was speak light. He didn’t do any work until he spoke light into the darkness. Once light entered true change could begin.

Genesis 1:1-5 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

This was the first day of creation. God saw that the light was good. His spiritual light is also good. “The word” from God’s mouth created light in the darkness. We need to open our mouths and speak light into the lives of others who are in darkness.

Psalm 119:130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Allowing God’s light into our lives enough to see that we are dark and full of sin is the beginning of allowing him to work. He began his work in us and made us new creations. Just as he changed the face of the earth. With the infilling of His Spirit, we too have the light of God inside of us.

Matt 5:14-16 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

As God’s children we are full of his light. We are to shine that light that others may see. Hopefully, they will let the light in enough to begin the creation process. We never know who will let the light in and who will put on a spiritual blindfold. We must let our light shine and pray that others will see Jesus in us. God’s light in us gives us the power to speak his words and share his incredible love.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  CHECK YOUR CHOICES

God is calling his children to come up higher in their faith walk. Every day is filled with choices. The world is full of distractions to pull our attention from Jesus. Every decision we make leads to a future decision. If the enemy tempts us into a bad decision, we may find ourselves making other bad choices because of the one. Every decision we make shapes our lives. This is why it is important to be consistent.

One example: The children of Israel had been worshipping other gods. Joshua stood boldly before them and told them they needed to settle the matter and choose one or the other, that worship of the one true God could not be mixed with gods of this earth.

Joshua 24:15-16 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve other gods;

Every day we must choose to serve God. We choose good or evil. We are faced with many small decisions. Do I read my Bible or stream Netflix? Do I pray or take a nap? We won’t be weakened if we choose occasionally to stream Netflix or take a nap. But do it consistently and we will grow weak. Being in the word gives us our strength. That is when our enemy attacks, when we are at our weakest.

Deut 11:26-27 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse; 27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day: 28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

These two verses summarize the point of this lesson today. We can have blessings or curses. If we obey God’s word, we will be blessed. If we chose other gods the false ones of the bible or idols we create ourselves we will not reap blessings. We reap what we sow.

DEUT 30: 14-18 But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it. 15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil; 16 In that I command thee this day to love the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.17 But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; 18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it. 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

Choosing to follow the one true God, has benefits. He will prosper us and bless us in this life. But if we do not do that which is right in the sight of God. He will cut our days short and will not bless us. We have to choose life, that is the side of Christ.

Prov 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

All most human being have to rely on is there instincts and intuition when making a decision. However, as children of God, we can ask for his leading and for discernment. He will never lead us wrong. Our instincts and intuition will fail us. Leaning on our human friends can sometimes not be the best decision. They too are making choices by their instincts and intuition. Choices may seem right, but may turn out to be a broad way that the enemy painted to look perfect.  So, choose wisely one road leads to life everlasting. The other leads to eternal death. You have a choice to make today, I pray you choose life.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  BECOMING BOLD

I often encourage you to be bold and brave. Jesus was bold. It takes a special kind of heavenly boldness to stand up to the religious people. Jesus didn’t come to create a religion; he came to set us free from religion. He often spoke bold in the presence of religious people.

The closer we get to Jesus the bolder we are going to get. The more of his word that we have down on the inside of us the bolder we will be.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. – Acts 4:31

Notice they spoke the word of God with boldness after they were filled with the Holy Ghost. God will give us holy boldness to be witnesses to the lost and dying world.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalm 27:1

Boldness doesn’t leave room for fear. God is our strength he will give us the boldness we need each day if we allow him. In order to be bold, we must replace the fear of man with the fear of God.

We develop boldness by growing our relationship with God. The closer we get to God the less we have a fear of man or anything else. We develop our fear of God as we study the word and pray for his guidance.

Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.

Notice how they realized that Peter and John had been with Jesus. This was the reason for their boldness. He had encouraged and empowered them to be bold. They learned from his example. He will empower us too. We must look to him and lean on him. He will always show us the way.

Imagine a lion, walking through the jungle. He is aware of his surroundings. He is strong and bold. Then he lets out his roar. It is something that comes from deep within. The whole jungle takes notice when he speaks. They don’t call him king of the jungle for nothing.

We are children of the king. Jesus is referred to as the lion of the tribe of Judah. This title shows his lineage from the tribe of Judah. It also refers to his victory over death, hell and the grave. He is king of kings and lord of lords.

As we grow in wisdom and understanding of what it means to be a child of God the boldness will come, then we too can let our voice be heard proclaiming the gospel.

Prov 28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

I love this verse, it reminds me that there is a roar inside. That I can be strong and bold. The enemy doesn’t win. As a matter of fact, he is a fake. He tries to counterfeit everything God does, but he lacks the power of God.

When Moses went before the Pharaoh the first two or three signs he gave the king to show God’s power, the magicians were able to fake. Sometimes the enemy can look so good. His tricks seem to be so real, that if we are not careful, we will fall for them. This is why we must pray for God’s discernment and wisdom.

Go out today and be bold, share the good news to the world. Our window of opportunity is closing.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  HIDING FROM THE HEALER

I can remember as a child hiding from my mom when I got scraped up when playing outside. Because she would put that red liquid pain in a bottle on my wounds to prevent infection. The disinfectant always worked and in a couple of days all would be well. The pain a distant memory.

Other times my brother or I would go running with something as small as a bug bite begging for a band aid. Because the band aid called attention to our wound that was nothing. We wanted sympathy or pity.

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

This verse has two-fold meaning. We were wounded spiritually before we were born. Adam and Eve sinned and all of mankind was born wounded. Jesus is the answer to our spiritual sin sickness. Yet how long did we run from the healer? He was trying to disinfect our soul. But we ran because the pain of change seemed too big.

But when we gave in and allowed him, he cleansed us in his blood. He not only took stripes to redeem our soul from hell. But his stripes were for our physical healing and emotional healing.

I have met people who have walked through some horrific things in life. I myself have walked through depression and grief. But I’ve learned most of the time not to run from the healer. It is better to pour out all the pain in those sobbing prayers that only God can understand. He has the cure. He can pour in the oil and the wine of his spirit to heal us.

After tragedy most people can find healing and move on with their lives. Emotional pain can come in lots of forms. But even when wounds have healed sometimes there are scars left behind.

We will be able to share our story to help other to know that they can be healed. Walking through painful things develops compassion in us. We can sympathize with someone in a similar situation. However, we must guard our lives against those who are just wanting a band aid. They want sympathy and pity. This is a form of manipulation. The person may not be aware they are manipulating you, but then again they maybe.

Many years ago, I tried to help a woman that was new to our church. She had multiple issues because of bad choices in the past. Over three or four months I spent countless hours on the phone with her letting her talk about her problems. Nothing changed, because she had not really changed. I realized the reason she was attending church. She thought if she gave her life to Jesus that he would bring her husband back to her. It was her attempt at getting her way and Jesus knew her motives.

She had tried begging, faking attempted suicide, manipulating her children to beg him to come back. Everything you could think of she tried. But she told the people at church she was trying to move on and pick up the pieces. But deep down she wanted God to bring her husband home. God would not do that because of free will. The man was determined to never return.

She didn’t come to Jesus for salvation or for healing. She just wanted to show the community her wounds. It is sad she had the right answer, but wouldn’t let him make a true change and heal her.

Three things to take away from today’s devotional.

  1. There is not a broke place God cannot heal within us if we fully give the hurt to him. We need to quit hiding from the healer.
  2. People have free will, God will never override that will.
  3. We need to learn who we can help and when someone is being manipulative. Like my example: I wasted months of time, one of our most precious assets. I am learning to listen to God’s leading and not be drawn in by compassion. It’s ok to walk away from people. We cannot help people who do not want to be helped. Because they are truly hiding from the healer.

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  PRESSURE

Have you ever seen a bottle of soda that was shaken and then opened? What happens? Pressure builds up from the shaking and the contents explode with force. This is what happens to human beings when they have been shaken by circumstances in life. The pressure keeps building until we explode in frustration, anger or fear.

What would happen to that same bottle if instead of opening it after it had been shaken if it is set down on a table. Given a little time, the pressure will calm. It will not explode when opened up.

The definition of pressure is compression, constraint and stress.  Constraint is a limitation or restriction.

Life at times can be full of pressure. Our normal day to day routine gets violently shaken and we find ourselves under pressure to find balance again. But God is in control like a master potter he shapes our lives. He knows just how much pressure we can take. He will only allow what we can handle with his help.

I Cor 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God makes a way of escape for us when temptation and difficult times come to shake us to our core. Before we explode, we need to sit down and be quiet. Maybe turn on some worship music. Sit quietly, praising the Lord. Allowing God’s peace to wash over us. As we worship, it will draw his presence.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

God is our refuge and strength; he is our help in trouble. When the pressure of life starts to build and we aren’t sure which way to go we can always turn to God. He will be our strength.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

God often says in his word to not be afraid or discouraged. He will strengthen us and give us peace. The next time life comes at you and the pressure builds, that is a sign that you need God’s peace. We must be still and allow God to guide our path. Thanks for watching,

WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  IMPOSTOR’S SYNDROME

Impostor’s syndrome is one of psychology’s “buzz words.” People suffering from impostor syndrome often fears being exposed as a fraud. They accomplish great things, yet cannot accept that they are successful. They feel like they are impostors.  They suffer from perfectionism. They may be successful but do not feel like it. They are plagued with self-doubt. Another thing these people do is self-sabotage because they see themselves as a failure. Even though deep down the want to succeed and prove others wrong.

One of the ways to overcome these life destroying things is to change the way you talk to yourself. Negative self-talk contributes to a lot of issues. Depression and anxiety are also caused by negative self-talk. Our words have power.

Focusing on things beyond our control can lead to a feeling of helplessness. As children of God, all this should go away when we realize who we are in Christ. Understanding that we are made by a loving God who wants us to understand our identity. He cares about us, because we are made in his image and likeness.

Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

How many times does the enemy try to convince us that we are impostors. We say we are Christians and he tries to condemn us for past sins.  When we make a mistake, he tries to convince us that we are not good enough to be forgiven. We know that on our own we could never be good enough. But God made a way after the fall of those he created.

Our identity cannot be wrapped up in other people’s opinions. The only opinion that matters is the one of our God. He says, we are blessed, chosen, adopted, favored, redeemed, loved, forgiven, child of the king, redeemed by the blood of the lamb. We have been adopted into the family of God and that gives us rights as heirs.

I John 3:2-3 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

We change from the sinful life to a life full of God. We receive a new identity in Christ. When the Holy Ghost comes in us to dwell, he will help us to live a purified life.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

We should not have impostor’s syndrome when we have God’s Spirit. Because he will lead and guide us. We are blessed, anointed and favored; we walk in his divine ways. He will shape our identity and our future. We will be the real deal as long as we allow him to work in our lives.

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  MYSTERIES

One of the most popular genera of books and movies are mysteries. The reader or one watching the movie wants to know the hidden clues that leads to the truth of the mystery. They try to figure out the secret before it is revealed.

There are many mysteries that the answers are revealed with time. I remember when I was a kid, my dad having a bumper sticker that never made it on the car. He used it as a bookmark in his bible. It said, “Anyone, can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed.” Time would reveal the mystery of how many apples would grow on one tree. But they would have to be counted all the years that the tree produced fruit.

Most of us do not sit around and ponder how many apples may be in a seed. But we all have things that are mysteries to us. God’s word is full of many deep mysteries. Some of those mysteries will be revealed on this side of heaven. Some we will not understand until we get to heaven.

Luke 12:2-3 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

These verses at first glance seem like a warning. We should not try to hide anything. I often think of people trying to hide sin. It will be revealed. It is another way of telling us that truth wins in the end. Sometimes it takes a while but truth is always revealed.

Jesus was warning people to not be like the religious leaders of that day. They made people think that they were good. But hidden inside of them was greed and moral corruption. One of their biggest sins was pride. They felt above the average man, self-important and self-righteous. The Pharisees fooled many people, but God sees and knows everything. Nothing can be hidden from God.

Some people feel like that they are too full of darkness for God’s light to penetrate. Those are the people God seeks. He takes those that were full of darkness and gives them his light. Suddenly, the world sees God’s redeeming power. The light is shining where only sin and darkness dwelled.

I have a friend that hit rock bottom many years ago. I will never forget her words to me when she was telling me about her encounter with God. She said, “I was so far down that I didn’t know if his hand would be able to reach me.” She is one of the most on fire for God Christians that I know today.

When God reaches into the hidden places and makes a change, there is no longer a mystery. The world knows that God has made a change in them. There are many mysteries in life, but God can take the hidden sins and bring them to light. Not to expose or make that person feel worse about their choices, but to cleanse them and give them hope.

However, if people choose to stay dark and evil, God will only tarry with them so long before the darkness is revealed in another way. This time they are destroyed by their darkness.

Proverbs 24:12 –For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Let this be your assurance that God sees all and knows all. Even though the word speaks of mysteries, to God there is no such thing. He is not surprised by anything. He sees and knows all.

We may never know how many apples are in a seed. We may never know a lot of hidden things in our life time. But when we get to heaven, we will hear the half that has never been told. We strive to know God in a deeper and more meaningful way every day. Someday, we will not be limited by the capacity of our flesh to understand. For now, we have to understand that God is bigger than any problem, hang-up, sin or conflict in our lives. His arm is not short; he can reach rock bottom to save a human being. All it takes is for us to trust that he knows all the answers, even how many apples are in a seed.
