WELCOME TO GOD FOCUS THIS MORNING

THE TITLE FOR TODAY’S EPISODE:  THE GOD THAT CANNOT FAIL

It is impossible for our God to fail. He has everything in the palm of his hand. He will lead, guide and direct his people. There is not a mountain we face that he is not there. Every fiery trial of life, He is there. Every broken road and path that we could not go down is God’s divine intervention.

Psalm139 1:3 O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

No one understands us like Jesus can. He sees the big picture of our lives. He knows all about us yet loves us anyway.

Psalm 139:4-6 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether. 5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

God’s hand is upon us. He knows what we are going to say before we say it. Still, we must guard our mouths. Our words have power to transform our lives for the good or bad. God placed that power within us. We need to speak life and positive things.

Psalm 139:7-10 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

There is no where we can go that God does not see. He cannot fail and failure is not an option for us either. We must be strong and courageous, leaning on our heavenly father to keep us on the right path.

Isaiah 55:10-11 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

God’s word goes forth to accomplish the will of God. If we trust in him, we will be prosperous. This is not necessarily a monetary thing or materialistic thing. There are many ways to prosper. Having our hearts right is one way to prosper. God’s will for our lives will be accomplished, if we surrender our will to God’s will.

Many generations of people who have gone before us have put their trust in the God that cannot fail. These people walked through fiery furnaces, killed a giant with a stone, walked on water, were thrown in the lion’s den, they wrestled with an angel, fought wars and won. They were healed by the power of God. They were saved and filled with the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost. Why would we not want to put our trust in the God that cannot fail?
